ACTION’s website has information about all the new fares.
Tertiary students’ fares will increase by 49%.
Why? From 1 July 2009, tertiary students must buy concession fares, not school fares. So instead of buying a School Student Faresaver 10, tertiary students must buy a Concession Faresaver 10.
Faresaver 10: Was $8.20 → Now $12.25. Increase of $4.05 or 49%.
